Enhancement to 'Add People'

I have used the 'Add People' tool and would like an improvement to that tool.  Before you 'add people', you are prompted to 'search' for them first in the database.  On occasion, I have found that I already have that person in the database, as they are listed to the right of my search.  I would like to be able to then click on the person who appears--so I can verify that the information listed with them is correct.  Or, so I can make an update to their existing information.  Currently, if I want to make an update, I then have to go back to the 'People Database', search for the person again, and then click on them to edit. 

Just another time saver if it's possible.  Thanks!
