Update: The ability to "dual schedule", or schedule active and inactive status at the same time is now available in many areas of Site Manager CMS!

We will continue to add this functionality throughout all the scheduling options.

I use the scheduling tool A LOT! I often get something all ready and then schedule it to go active in a couple days. It would be awesome to see the ability to have a second schedule so I can schedule it to go back to inactive all at the same time instead of having to remember to go back in later to schedule it.

Thanks  :)

Brenda,

That seems like a great idea!

We will be re-working all of the tools later this year, and I’ll add this to the list of possible enhancements to the resource/content list tool.

If others like this idea, please comment with your vote.

Yes! I love Brenda’s idea! It is always helpful to be able to work ahead and ensure that the information on your website is accurate. This would be great! I would love to be able to set a date/time to go active and also be able to set a date/time to go inactive. We could do so much work ahead of time which is GREAT!

Casting my vote “Definitely” for enhancement to the resource/content list tool:

It would be awesome to see the ability to have a second schedule so I can schedule it to go back to inactive all at the same time instead of having to remember to go back in later to schedule it.

Great webinars.

Yes, please add this to the tool.  Please also include the time of the day that you want to it to be activated/inactivated.  There are plenty of times that we'd need this to happen not just at 4:00 a.m.

I like the time of day option as well! Not a huge deal for me, but a nice perk if possible!

I like this also, including the time of day.

Good news on this enhancement request! As of 5/2014, pages can now be scheduled in a two-step (so going from active to inactive, for example) AND you can set the time of day too. In addition, our new announcements module (announcements database) has the two-step scheduling.

We will be reviewing applying this two-step scheduling to other page level tools. Continue to comment and vote if you would like to see this brought to other tools in Site Manager!
