Whether this is your first auction or your 5th, you will need to start by creating a new auction.
To create a new auction you will go to the Setup/Options menu and choose Auctions.
Here you will see the list of all of your previous auctions. If this is your first one, you will just see the Add Auction link.
In the rows, you see several links to choose from. By choosing Insert Before, you will have the new auction placed before this one on the list and the Add Auction Screen will appear, which is pictured below. The Up and Down links will move the Auction up or down the list.
If you choose Download, you will get an Excel list of all of the items in that particular auction.
To Add a New Auction, click on the Add Auction link.
Enter your Auction Title and be sure it is something you can remember. Also, please enter the Auction Date and the Begin and End times. This will guarantee that you have a support person on call the night of your auction. At least 10 days advanced notice is required.
If you plan on working on this new auction, you will want to check the box to make it the default auction. When checked, this is the auction that solicitors will be in when they log in to the site. Also, it will also show at the top right of your screen with a link beside to change to a different auction if desired.
The developers of Auction Trak, Dynamic Internet Solutions, want to offer you a donation for your upcoming auction. If you are interested, we would like to donate a professional graphic design valued at $599. To learn more about this auction donation, go to http://www.faithwebsites.net/auction.cfm.
This donation will be automatically added to your Items database for this auction. If you do not want to take advantage of this offer, just go to the Items Database, search for "Professional Website Design", edit the resulting Item and click the Delete button at the bottom of the page. Or if you decide to keep this donation, print the certificate from the Items Database for this item where you will find a link for it in the notes section.
