Faculty Database: Groups

  1. From the top menu bar click on PEOPLE and choose the Faculty Database link. 
  2. The Faculty Database screen will appear. Click the down arrow next to Select Options and choose GROUP.
  3. The Faculty Groups page will appear. Click on the ADD FACULTY GROUP button.
    • Group Name: This should be a description name that differentiates this group from other groups. Since faculty members can belong to multiple groups, we recommend that you create many small groups as opposed to a few large groups.
    • Faculty Belonging to this Group: This is the faculty members that belong to this group. When you add in faculty members, you can attach them to the desired groups as well.
  4. Select faculty on the left and use the buttons below to place them into the box on the right.
  5. When you are finished selecting your faculty, click the ADD button at the bottom.
  6. Your GROUP name will now appear on the list on the Faculty Database - Groups page.
  • TIP: You have the ability to delete a GROUP on this page as well, by clicking on the trash can image.
